Recipe: Peanut Butter Energy Bites

When you need a quick boost peanut butter is a great choice. It’s packed with protein and nutrients including vitamin E, magnesium, iron, selenium and vitamin B6. These little bites give you the energy you need before or after a workout.

Ingredients:
2/3 cup peanut butter
1/2 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
1 cup old-fashioned oats
1/2 cup chia seeds or ground flax seeds
2 tbsp. honey

Directions:
Combine all 5 ingredients in a bowl. Stir to combine. Place in the refrigerator for 15-30 minutes. Roll into 12 bites and store in an airtight container. They’ll last in the fridge for up to a week.
